Initializing PayPal 

In General

A PayPal account for your ministry will facilitate donation & premium fulfillment from your Web site and/or newsletter. Your PayPal account will collect donations and support information. The money (less a fee) can be sent to your bank at your request and the support information will be received at your designated email address. It is the intent of this document to collect the set up information to initialize your PayPal account.
 

Some general decisions are needed to start with:

1. To have a PayPal account.
2. The account and routing numbers are needed for the bank account(s) to receive funds. A voided check can serve this purpose.
3. Where would you like to place donate opportunities (buttons and/or links) in your Web site(s) and/ or email? This can change with time.
4. Who needs to have access to your PayPal account to get information, initiate the transfer of funds to your bank account or make changes? The initial installation should limit this to one person.
5. Do you want to setup the opportunity for subscriptions?
6. Do you want to offer premiums? Note that not all donate buttons or links need offer premiums or suggest subscriptions.

Bank Accounts:
Bank accounts are used to receive funds from donation buttons or email.
Payments sent through a PayPal button or link will be deposited into your Paypal online account. You may choose, at any time, to transfer some or all of these funds into a designated bank account. A voided check is a good way to provide the needed information.
You may track your donations via information included in the Paypal button or link

Button Data Set

A button data set is needed for each button or solicitation.
Choose a button style or provide a file graphic defining something unique.
