Wanted Web site Content Editors:
(See job descriptions below)
Ministry Systems – www.ministrysystems.org
Content Editors work directly with the ministry/mission to do Web research and
with Ministry Systems to load the research results into the Web site of the
ministry/mission. All research can be done from home. However there may be
occasional coordination meetings. On rare occasions travel opportunities may be
available. All out of pocket expenses are reimbursed of course. Most important
is that there is a sense of calling from the Lord. To learn more about a
specific ministry, visit their Web site, contact them directly and/or contact
me. Editor opportunities for specific organizations are listed below.
Latin America Indian Ministries (LAIM) – www.laim.org
The ministry provides evangelistic and development resources for the ministry to
the large Indian population of Latin America. A major issue is this population
speaks with the minority languages specific to their local tribe. The Indians of
Mexico alone use today over 150 of these distinct languages today. The LAIM Web
site seeks to be a resource to those ministering to these people. This includes
the indigenous pastors and those from elsewhere who are called to this ministry.
The Content Editor will work directly with the senior leaders of LAIM to do the
online research building a rich body of references that will provide information
to support LAIM. This will include cultural information about the tribes,
evangelistic, economic development, and Biblical resources in the major trade
language, Spanish.
That is not all. In addition, the Web site strives to be multilingual and
therefore some translation to Spanish is needed.
